Kingdom Come Deliverance Royal Edition Review

King Gaming Review

The Kingdom Come Deliverance Royal Edition is the full version of the 2018 role-playing game set in medieval Bohemia. The base game already contained an enormous amount of content, so it's not surprising that this new edition also includes all of the downloadable content (DLC) released for it so far. These expansions include From the Ashes, which introduced an abandoned village players can build up into a settlement after winning a tournament; Band of Bastards, in which you must fight alongside a group of mercenaries known as the Rattay crew; and A Woman's Lot (a DLC campaign centered around playable protagonist Theresa). In addition to collecting each expansion into one convenient package, Warhorse Studios has also promised to introduce several new DLCs this year: The Tournament will make its debut on February 13th while Hardcore Mode is scheduled for release sometime later this year."

The game has received a number of these add-ons over the last year which have added new missions and additional side quests.

It's worth noting that if you already own one or more of these DLC packs (or they were included in your pre-order), they won't be included in your purchase. However, if you don't have any of them at all, then this edition is definitely worth considering because it contains everything that's currently available to owners and newcomers alike.

These expansions include From the Ashes, which introduced an abandoned village players can build up into a settlement after winning a tournament, and Band of Bastards, in which you must fight alongside a group of mercenaries known as the Rattay crew. Both are great ways to get more out of your adventure.

The Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hans Capon is also worth picking up if you want to learn more about some characters not featured in the main campaign, or even if you just want more funny dialogue. A Woman's Lot adds new armor sets for female characters and adds some romance options for them as well—not that there aren't plenty already available when playing as a man! Finally, A Night to Remember adds another side quest involving Henry being asked by his old friend Mimi Luteyn to investigate strange happenings at an inn.

Also available are The Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hans Capon (an expand-alone mission in which you help a friend woo a woman), A Woman's Lot (a DLC campaign centered around playable protagonist Theresa), and finally, the upcoming A Night to Remember, which is scheduled to arrive on February 13.

The Royal Edition also includes the soundtrack CD and a set of collectible artwork cards.

The Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hans Capon is a DLC that puts players in the shoes of Hans Capon, a friend who's tasked with wooing a woman in order to get married. The mission itself is fairly simple but still manages to be entertaining thanks to the excellent voice acting, writing, and music.

If you're a fan of Kingdom Come Deliverance, this Royal Edition gives you the chance to play through all five expansions at once. The game's first expansion, From the Ashes, introduced new quests and areas to explore in the main campaign. If you're not interested in spending money on DLCs, however, there's no need to pick up this bundle; From the Ashes will be available as a standalone purchase on February 13 alongside The Tournament DLC. Hardcore Mode was announced after From the Ashes released but is still being developed; it will be available sometime later this year when it launches as part of Warhorse Studios' plan for monthly content updates for Kingdom Come Deliverance.

The Tournament is purely narrative-focused and takes place over several days during which time Henry must participate in jousting matches provided by Lord Capon (a nobleman who owns Rattay). Following each match, players can return back home or choose another activity based on how much time has elapsed until his next jousting match begins--although there isn't much else besides breaking horses during those gaps between fights.

Conclusion

Overall, Kingdom Come Deliverance is an ambitious game that has been met with both critical acclaim and fanfare. With its open world depiction of medieval Bohemia, it's a fascinating trip back in time. With the Royal Edition, Warhorse Studios have provided a way for players to experience all of the content available so far without having to buy each expansion individually. The price tag is steep but if you're looking for an immersive role-playing experience set in medieval times then this might just be what you're after!
