King Gaming Review
Fullmetal Alchemist is one of the best anime series to ever be released. It’s often called a modern classic and it lives up to that name with its compelling story, memorable characters and beautiful animation. Fullmetal Alchemist revolves around Ed and Al Elric, two brothers who lost their mother to an illness when they were young children. To bring their mother back from the dead, Ed sacrifices his right arm by binding it with a blood seal while Al sacrifices his entire body by binding his soul into a suit of armor called an “automail arm” which is essentially just a prosthetic limb made out of metal. However, despite making this terrible decision, neither brother manages to save their mother which causes them both great anguish throughout the course of the show's run time.
STORY
The story is about two brothers who live in a world where alchemy is the main source of power. Edward and Alphonse Elric are both searching for the philosopher's stone, which will help them revive their dead mother. In order to do so, they must find their father who disappeared after he left his family years ago. In order to bring him back from exile, they must also locate something called a "gateway" or "key."
This story borrows heavily from several actual historical tales like Dante's Inferno and Cervantes' Don Quixote (which you may recognize as being written by Miguel de Cervantes). The series weaves these ideas into its own narrative while keeping them recognizable enough that fans will enjoy recognizing allusions to them in each episode of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
CHARACTERS
The two main characters of the show are Edward and Alphonse Elric. They are brothers, and they are alchemists. The two boys have a mother who died when they were still young. They wanted to find the Philosopher’s Stone so that they could use it to bring their mother back to life, but when they tried this experiment, it went terribly wrong and Ed lost his arm while Al lost his entire body (except for his soul). Now Ed wants to get Al's body back from where it was stored in a suit of armor before an enemy takes over the world with their knowledge of alchemy.
ART AND ANIMATION
It's important to note that this anime has a unique art style. The characters are drawn a bit more realistically than most anime, but there's still enough detail and shading to make them stand out from other shows. The animation is very smooth, detailed, vibrant and fluid. This makes the show easy on the eyes while keeping with its dark tone.
The consistent use of these techniques throughout the series makes Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood an incredible work of art worthy of your time!
MUSIC
You don't have to be a composer or a musician to appreciate the music. It's just as good as the story. The music is amazing, great and epic. Beautiful and sad; it's all there for you to enjoy.

Fullmetal Alchemist is an anime that every fan of the genre should watch. It has a unique story, characters and animation that set it apart from other series in this genre. The action scenes are intense and well-animated, while the comedy is lighthearted but equally enjoyable. The characters are developed well enough for you to grow attached to them, even though there are so many at once that it's hard to keep track of them all!
It definitely deserves your time if you're looking for something new in anime or just want a good excuse to binge watch some shows again!

Each character has their own distinct look that you could easily recognize even if they were only in one scene together or not wearing their iconic attire (like Ed). The animation looks smooth as well and there are many action scenes that are done justice with this high level of quality animation.
